Repair procedures

Removal and Installation
1.
Remove the drive belt.
(Refer to Drive Belt System - "Drive Belt")
2.
Remove the drive belt tensioner (A).
Tightening torque
Bolt (B) : 18.6 - 23.5 N.m (1.9 - 2.4 kgf.m, 13.7 - 17.4 lb-ft)
Bolt (C) : 34.3 - 41.2 N.m (3.5 - 4.2 kgf.m, 25.3 - 30.4 lb-ft)

3.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
   
Check the belt tensioner for crack, and damage. Replace if necessary.
Inspection
Check the drive belt tensioner for excessive foreign substances, crack, damage or sticking of pivot shaft. Replace if necessary.
