Repair procedures

Removal
1.
Remove the front door trim.
(Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim")
2.
Cut the heat-welded part with a knife and loosen the mounting screw (B).
3.
Remove the front door inside handle (A).

   
•
Be careful of breakage and cut the heat-welded part with a knife.
Installation
1.
Install the front door inside handle.
2.
A screw is attached to the cut heat-welded portion.
   
•
Because there is no groove to attach the screw to the heat weld, install the screwdriver in a straight line.

   
•
Front door inside handle mounting screw
(A) : M5, 8mm (7ea)
(B) : Existing screw (M3, 1ea)

    Repair procedures Replacement1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2.Remove the heater and blower assembly.(Refer to Heater - "Heater Unit") 3.Remove the heater core cover (A) after loosening the mounting screws.4.Pull out the heater core (A) from the heater unit.
