Hyundai Elantra (CN7): Parking Safety / Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW)

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning Assist is designed to help detect vehicles approaching from the left and right side while your vehicle is reversing, and warn the driver that a collision is imminent with a warning message and an audible warning.

In the following text, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning will be referred as Rear Cross-Traffic Safety system.

Detecting sensor

Rear View Monitor will show the area behind the vehicle to assist you when parking or backing up. Detecting sensor [1] : Rear view camera Refer to the picture above for the detailed location of the detecting sensor.

Setting Rear Cross-Traffic Safety With the engine on, select ‘Driver Assistance → Parking Safety → Rear Cross- Traffic Safety’ from the Settings menu to turn on Rear Cross-Traffic Safety system and deselect to turn off the system.
