Hyundai Elantra: Immobilizer System / Antenna Coil
Repair procedures
| 1. | Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. | Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") |
| 3. | Remove the steering column shroud panel. (Refer to Body - "Steering Column Shroud Panel") |
| 4. | Disconnect the immobilizer connector (A) and press the locking pin (B) using an awl. |
| 5. | Loosen the mounting screws and remove the antenna coil.

| 1. | Install the antenna coil. |
| 2. | Connect the antenna coil connector. |
| 3. | Install the crash pad lower panel. |
| 4. | Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |

1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Remove the service cover by pulling
out the service cover.
3. Loosen the assembly retaining nuts.
