Repair procedures
1. | Remove the plug hole (A). 
|
2. | Loosen the mounting screw (A) and then remove the front door outside handle (B) by sliding it forward. Tightening torque : 7.8 - 11.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.7 lb-ft) |

3. | Remove the front door lock assembly (A). 
|
4. | Disconnect the front door outside handle connector (A). 
|
5. | To install, reverse the removal procedure. •
| Be sure to install the outside handle pad (A) between the outside handle and the door panel. 
|

| Make sure the connector is connected properly. |
•
| Make sure the door locks / unlocks and opens / closes properly. |

Setting
Rear Cross-Traffic Safety
With the engine on, select ‘Driver
Assistance → Parking Safety → Rear Cross-
Traffic Safety’ from the Settings menu to
turn on Rear Cross-Traffic Safety system
and deselect to turn off the system.
WARNING
When the engine is restarted, Rear
Cross-Traffic Safety system will always
turn on...
