Repair procedures
| •
| When removing with a flat - tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components. |
| •
| Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries. |
|
| 1. | Remove the front door trim. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim") |
| 2. | Disconnect the outside rear view mirror connector (A). 
|
| 3. | After loosening the mounting nuts, remove the outside rear view mirror (A). Tightening torque : 6.9 - 10.8 N.m (0.7 - 1.1 kgf.m, 5.1 - 8.0 lb-ft) |

| 4. | To install, reverse the removal procedure. | •
| Make sure the connector is connected properly. |
| •
| Replace any damaged clips (or pin - type retainers). |

Setting
Lane Safety
With the Engine Start/Stop button in the
ON position, select or deselect ‘Driver
Assistance → Lane Safety’ from the
Settings menu to set whether or not to
use each function.
-- If ‘Lane Keeping Assist’ is selected, the
function will automatically assist the
driver’s steering when lane departure
is detected to help prevent the vehicle
from moving out of its ..
This indicator light illuminates:
[Green] When you activate the lane
departure warning system by pressing
the Lane Safety button and all of
the system operating conditions are
satisfied.
[White] When function operating
conditions are not satisfied or when
the sensor does not detect the lane
line.
[Yellow] When there is a malfunction
with Lane Keeping Assist system.
